i was on this flight too 3 weeks ago.....i was on my way to LAX....at least its better than their 747s.....no personal TVs for a 10 hr flight!!! imagine that!!

That boarding music pisses me off. Its nice and relaxing for the first five minutes but after hearing it for 1/2 hour non stop you feel like killing someone lol. Does anyone know the name of it?

Actually it's based in ALL three of those cities you just mentioned, along with Memphis and Amsterdam(Holland).

I flew on that flight from Singapore to Narita too in March 08. The worst inflight service i've ever experienced! I made a complaint midway to their service capital against one of the arrogant and rude flight attendants! No wonder Northwest can give such cheap fares coz they hire junks crew to serve you.

yes it is, after landing in Tokyo it would have continued to Portland, Oregon.
